If you love animals as much as you love adventure, this experience is for you! Here, the wellbeing of the huskies comes first, and you'll feel that from the moment you meet your four-legged team.

After learning how to steer your own sled, it's time to head into the snowy wilderness! Feel the excitement as your huskies lead you through peaceful forests and beautiful Arctic landscapes. No engines, no crowds—just you, your team and the magic of Lapland.

After your sled ride, you'll get to spend time with the dogs, share cuddles, take photos and discover their individual personalities. Afterwards, warm up with a hot drink and a freshly baked Finnish cinnamon bun by the fire.

Every adventure is thoughtfully planned around the wellbeing and happiness of the huskies, offering a personal, small-scale experience for both guests and dogs. That's why this adventure is available on request only—because happy dogs always come first.

The Husky Farm is located close to Ivalo and the safaris start at 10 AM and 1 PM.

        • Physical requirements: Driving a husky sled requires reasonable physical fitness, balance and the ability to follow safety instructions.
        • Weight limit: The maximum weight per person is 100 kg. If you exceed this limit, kindly let us know in advance.
        • Health considerations: Please let us know about any health conditions, injuries, mobility limitations or other circumstances that could affect your participation.
        • Driving your sled: No previous experience is needed! You'll receive driving instructions and a safety briefing before heading into the wilderness.
        • Sharing a sled: Each sled can accommodate two adults and one child. Driving and seating arrangements depend on your group and will be confirmed individually.
        • Weather conditions: This is an outdoor Arctic adventure. The route, duration or schedule may be adjusted depending on weather, snow conditions and the wellbeing of the dogs.
        • Meeting point: You'll receive the exact meeting location and arrival instructions with your booking confirmation.
        • Animal welfare: The wellbeing of the huskies always comes first. Please follow all instructions when interacting with the dogs and respect their need for rest and personal space.
